Privacy

This site doesn't ask you to create an account, doesn't use cookies and doesn't load ad trackers.

What is processed

The post link you paste is sent to our server to find its media. To answer quickly if the same post is requested again soon, the post's public media information is kept in memory for at most 15 minutes. Downloaded files are not stored on the server; they are passed straight from X's servers to you.

Server logs

To prevent abuse, your IP address, the request time and the requested address are kept in technical logs. They are used only for debugging and rate limiting and are not shared with third parties.

Stored in your browser

Your light/dark theme choice and the list of posts you recently opened are stored only in your browser's local storage. You can delete the list with "Clear history" on the home page. Converting a video to GIF or audio also happens entirely in your browser.

Visit statistics

The site owner may choose to count visits with Umami, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. It does not track you across sites and does not store your IP address.

Third parties

Media information comes from X Corp.'s servers and, when needed, from the open-source FxEmbed service. Preview images load directly from X's servers.
